Ball, Butterfly, Check, Global & Solinoid Valves

Ball Valve

A ball valve is a flow control device which uses a hollow, perforated and pivoting ball to control liquid flowing through it.Ball valves are one of the most popular quarter-turn valves in the world market today, with multiple types available.

Butterfly Valve

A butterfly valve is a valve that isolates or regulates the flow of a fluid. The closing mechanism is a disk that rotates.Butterfly valves are a family of quarter-turn rotational motion valves that are used in pipelines to shut-off flow. It is often said that butterfly valves can be used to regulate the flow.

Check Valve

A check valve is a device that only allows the flow of fluids in one direction. They have two ports, one as an inlet for the media and one as the output for the media. Since they only allow media flow in one direction, they are commonly referred to as ‘one way valves’ or ‘non return valves.’ The main purpose of a check valve is to prevent backflow in the system.

Globe Valve

Globe valves are used primarily in situations where throttling of the commodity is required. By simply rotating the handwheel, the rate at which the commodity flows through the valve can be adjusted to any desired level.

Solenoid Valves

Solenoid valves are used wherever fluid flow has to be controlled automatically. They are being used to an increasing degree in the most varied types of plants and equipment. The variety of different designs which are available enables a valve to be selected to specifically suit the application in question.
