HMI stands for Human Machine Interface. Generally, it refers to a screen or dashboard that communicates information, data and metrics using graphics or visual representations of numbers. The screen is controlled by an operator who monitors and controls equipment and processes in factories and plants.

Paper Recorder

A paper recorder also called chart recorder is an instrument used to record various process and electrical signals. The paper is passed under a pen and the pen is deflected in proportion to the signal. The result is a graph or chart of the data.

Paperless Recorder

A paperless recorder is a data logger or data acquisition device used to record measurement data over time. Many paperless recorder devices are integrated into industrial control systems for process monitoring applications.
